Sludge Discharge Configurations

To meet different dust loading conditions and plant maintenance strategies, the MDC-V series offers three sludge discharge configurations. Users can select manual removal, automatic scraper discharge or hydraulic flushing discharge depending on operating continuity, sludge volume and automation requirements.

Advantages & Features

Engineered for stable industrial operation, the MDC-V series combines proven wet collection principles with practical design improvements to ensure reliable performance, easy maintenance and consistent dust removal efficiency across various operating conditions.

Venturi Separation System

The MDC-V series adopts an engineered Venturi separation system featuring a Venturi rod array that divides the incoming airflow into multiple controlled channels. This structure improves airflow distribution while maintaining low pressure loss.

By creating multiple smaller Venturi zones instead of a single throat, the system increases gas-liquid contact efficiency and enhances dust capture performance. This design provides an effective balance between high separation efficiency and stable operating resistance, making it suitable for continuous industrial duty.

Venturi Separation System

High Efficiency Demisting Module

The MDC-V integrates a high-efficiency two-stage demisting module designed to prevent moisture carryover. The first stage uses tangential inlet airflow to generate centrifugal separation of heavier droplets.

The second stage utilizes a specially designed double swirl demister that effectively isolates separated moisture from the clean air stream. This prevents re-entrainment and ensures stable downstream operation while maintaining consistent exhaust air quality.

High Efficiency Demisting Module

Integrated Fan & Compact Layout

For MDC-V units below 40,000 m³/h, the fan is mounted directly on top of the collector, eliminating the need for external duct connections. This compact arrangement reduces installation time and minimizes required plant space.

The high-pressure industrial fan provides over 3500 Pa static pressure, ensuring sufficient suction capability for most dust extraction systems while improving installation efficiency and reducing structural complexity.

Integrated Fan & Compact Layout

Closed Loop Water Management

The MDC-V is designed with a closed-loop water management system to reduce operating costs and environmental impact. Dust settles in the bottom cone and is discharged, while clarified water is recirculated through stainless steel pumps back to the spray system.

The system integrates filtration, automatic refill, and level monitoring to maintain stable operation and prevent interruptions caused by water shortages.

Closed Loop Water Management

Automatic Sludge Discharge System

The MDC-V features an automatic sludge discharge system designed for reliable long-term operation. A V-port stainless steel valve with chrome plated core provides excellent resistance to wear and clogging.

The pneumatic actuator enables fast opening cycles to create strong flushing action. Adjustable discharge intervals allow operators to optimize maintenance schedules while reducing wastewater treatment load.

Smart Control & Industrial Durability

The MDC-V is engineered for industrial reliability with SA2.5 surface preparation and a heavy-duty three-layer coating system to provide long-term corrosion protection.

The integrated PLC control system with touchscreen allows operators to easily manage water supply, drainage, and alarms. Ethernet communication enables integration into plant automation systems for centralized monitoring and operation.
